Good evening everyone just want to remind all J cube members that the up coming weeks would be quite a busy week for some, therefore we (j cube blog committee) have taken the time to inform your on the up coming events and date. So please kindly take note of these information.

First up there wouldn't be cat class on the 3 and 10 of may as it is the week of exams for the some, therefore Jenna has given us off for these two weeks. Class would resume from the 17 may to the 24 may. Coming to 31 may there wouldn't be cat class once again, as there would be Chinese O level paper, Jenna has kindly gave us a week off for us to study.

Secondly Jenna and Jolene and Jennifer wants to meet all god parents and parents on the 3 of may so please kindly inform your parents and god parents about this news.

thirdly Jenna and Jolene and Jennifer and Jonathan and Faith and Josephine (J cube's committee member and back up singer for the event, Shepherd's Salvation) well hoping most of your could come, currently we are all praying that everyone could make it.

Heyhey, everyone!

Wishing you all a really happy Easter!

Hope you've had a meaningful Holy Week as well!

Notice, remember, there is no cat class this Sunday (today, 12th April 09'), as Jenna, Jennifer (probably as well, somewhere), and Jolene will be off to Narnia to hunt down Easter Bunnies (Thy Easterian Bunneth) to get Kinder Surprises!

This is how you can get some Easter Eggs too! :

1. Go to Brother 1/4 Indian, 3/4 Chinese, and say the password: "Don't we all just love church chips?"

2. He'll give you a set of keys. You must throw them onto the table nearby, but first, remove the key which says: THROW THIS ONE. and keep it.

3. Walk down to the Shell station nearby and use the Aura of J-Cube (Exclusive to J-Cube peeps!) to persuade the guys down at the car wash that the wardrobe in the back needs fixing.

4. Upon reaching the wardrobe, stick the key into the keyhole, and giving your best attempt at singlish, say: "Aiyah, the cupboard door not okay one la!"

5. Enter the wardrobe, and keep walking. Mind the clothes. You'll soon be in Narnia.

6. Aslan (little, erm, big furry kitten who speaks English) will be guarding the other end of the wardrobe. When he growls at you, tell him that he needs to brush his teeth and offer him a breathmint (assuming you have one).

7. He'll eat the whole box, and give you a compass. Locate northwest, and get on Aslan's back.

8. He'll take you northwest of Narnia, where you can find the Easterian Bunneth.

9. When you reach, you'll find a place full of Easterian Bunneths, and 3 other humans prancing about, chasing them for Kinder Surprises. (Not surprisingly, their names all begin with 'J'.)

10. Get off Aslan, and start singing Touch My Body by Mariah Carey at the top of your voice.

11. If you sing it really badly (or the way Mariah did,) all the Easterian Bunneths will drop dead.

12. Quickly scramble and take as many easter eggs as possible! (Laughing evily at the same time is advised.)

13. Go back to the wardrobe by cable car. (Aslan won't wait for you, and he's heard that song till he hates it already.)

14. The minute you reach the wardrobe, thank Aslan for the wonderful time you had, then pat his mane and listen to him speak English for entertainment sake.

15. Return to Christ The King, and share your story (and easter eggs!) with J-Cube!

Otherwise, we could always just bug Jenna or Jolene for some easter eggs next week.

These prayers are for two people.

Laura, and Cynthia.

Let us first calm our minds, and remember that now and always, we are in the Holy presence of God.

For Jonathan and Cynthia:
Jonathan, if you ever need something to pray on:

Lord Jesus, I thank You for bestowing on me the gift of life. You know everything that has affected me physically, emotionally, spiritually and all my inmost experiences of mind and heart that have formed me into the person that I am now.

It is not Your will that Your people should suffer, and yet, I remember so well how You took on suffering for us all. Lord, keep me now from losing hope as I face once again my infirmity. I feel the pain and ask of God, "Let this cup pass from me."

As I kneel with You in the garden, may I welcome another day with a prayer that echoes yours: "Not my will but Thine be done." Let me never forget how to laugh, for laughter is Your gift to me to undo depression and heal the hurt of a sickness I cannot control. Then I will gladly walk Your way, to join in Your sacrifice of love, and I will not dwell upon the pain that leads my thoughts away from You.

I renounce any rebellion or fear. Though I do not quite understand Your way of directing me right now, I wish to let go of any possessiveness over my life. I surrender all the details of my present situation into Your loving care.

I ask You to accept instead each breath I draw as an act of love and trust in You. Please guide Cynthia onto the path of quick recovery. May you be kind to her, and protect her, help her, and strengthen her everyday. As I kneel in prayer with patience and serenity, and look upon you to oversee her recovery, I ask you to continue to strengthen my faith in You. You are my Saviour, and I lean upon Your loving Heart with the peace of a little child in its father's arms. I know You will not forsake me. Take me into Your gentle embrace, for I know that whatever this day brings, You have paved my way with Your tears and redeemed me with Your victory. I love You, dearest Lord.

I ask this in your most Holy Name. Amen.

I hope this helps you, jonathan. Put your faith in Him, let him take control of your life and He'll never fail to show you why things happen, when they happen. Just remember, there's nothing you and Him will find impossible to take on, together.

For Laura, and everyone close to her:

Lord Jesus Christ, You chose to share our human nature, to redeem all people, and to heal the sick. With this in mind I beg You, firstly, to look with compassion on Your dearest children, whom are close to Laura at heart, or closed in prayer for her.

Support them with Your power, comfort her friends, family, and everyone close to her with Your protection, and give them the strength needed to live each day with faith in You.

Secondly, as You have saved us from death through Your own passion, help Laura and everyone praying for her recovery to find hope in You during such times of trouble.

Lord, You went about doing good and healing all who had faith in you, we ask You to bless Laura who met with an accident. Give her strength in body, courage in spirit, and patience in to recover.

We know all things are possible through You, and we ask you to aid Laura through whatever pain or suffering she may be experiencing. As we all continue to strengthen in faith, please answer our prayers, for You live and reign forever and ever.

Amen.

Joy, keep us posted on Laura, kay. We'll continue to pray for her.

evening to all readers and members there is a very bad news I had received from my girlfriend, from the untied states stating that she was hospitalize, because she had been throwing out blood since the last two days. so please have a heart by helping me to pray for her speedy recover as she meant a lot to me. So please help me pray for her thanks a lot . Anyway this is the holy week, I hope that everyone could spare some time to pray to god, asking god to please heal my girlfriend and my another friend, Alena Foong who is currently down with a flu and for me as currently i think i am going to have a flu soon and these week is an important week for me too. Those who have been into an accident and is now in a unstable condition in the hospital, hopefully by god grace these people would be cure.

A CHIJ primary Toa Payoh girl, Laura, was knocked down on 2 april on the way to school. She is in hospital, condition unstable. Please say a prayer for her, thanks!

The accident happened at a blind spot, when the girl was jaywalking and the car made a U-turn at the blind spot and knocked her.
